If you think you have seen Qool Labs' new devices before, you probably have! This is because both the QDA Lite and QDA Icon are based on the Mite-On Phoenix 2 and a TechFaithWireless prototype respectively.
Qool Labs's new offerings were on show at CommunicAsia, which took place in Singapore this week. The QDA Lite is powered by an Intel PXA270 520MHz processor.
Qda Lite comes with 64MB RAM and128MB ROM. It is also supported by tri-band GSM/GPRS. For local connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth2.0 and USB 2.0.
There is also a 2.0 mega pixel camera and a 2.8 inch QVGA TFT-LCD display. The QDA Lite features a SDIO/SD/MMQ slot and a 1240mAh battery. It measures 114mm×58mm×18.7mm and weighs 149g.
The QDA Icon specifications are a little less detailed. However what is known makes up for anything that's missing. The QDA Icon features GSM/GPRS connectivity, Bluetooth and WiFi. IT also has a 4.0 megapixel CCD camera with flash, giving it an edge over the QDA Lite.
The QDA Lite has OMAP 200MHz processor, EDGE and FM radio. Besides the above the QDA Icon has pretty much the same specifications as the QA Lite.
You can expect Qool Labs' QDA Lite and QDA Icon to be available in the market late this year, as they were just showcased at CommunicAsia, in Singapore
